My Cats

It's interesting to note the arrivals of the cats into my household. My family used to stay in a condominium and although my family loves the furry animals, my mom(as the voice of reason in the family) always forbade us from buying any cats as she feels it would be torturous for the cats not to have grounds to roam free.

However, the moment we moved in to a landed property, the four legged pals just 'dropped in' and are added into the household automatically. By dropping in, I mean this: -
1) Yoda was found in a petrol station. He was sooo small when we first saw him, he looked like a white fuzz ball. Now, he so fat, his stomach sways in rhythm to the 'Sway' song when he walks.
2) Tipah was found on a disappearing mount in Johor during the 2006 floods. If she was not rescued, she would have been taken with the strong current. When she was found, her voice sounded so sore from too much meowing. Hers is tragic sort of dropped in. But I do believe it has turned out for the best.
3) Ricky was taken from my uncle. My mom went to my uncle's one day and saw Ricky and fell in lurve. It was also lucky on Ricky's part as his brother that my father barred my mom from taking together with Ricky, died few months later. Ricky is by the way named after Ricky Martin.
4) Jojo is given to our family as the family who used to own him could not keep him as the residence is on a main street. Jojo is a Siamese cat who sleeps with a smile on his face and is very very eccentric!!
5) Kutam/Hitam who also answers to Tam Tam is rescued from a dumpster. He had severe skin/fur problems that his whole face is screwed up. He now has healthy coat of black fur that seems to be getting longer and longer. He now also only sleeps in air - conditioned room.

For whatever the reason the cats are added into my family, on the offset, it would seem that the cats needed my family. Now and for sure, my family also need the cats. They add colour, spice and sound to our everyday life. I, really really cannot imagine life without them. Eventhough they give me heartache and heart attack sometimes, Yoda loves to play hide and seek at 2 am, Jojo will bring the oddest things/animals back to the house, they are so the very precious. They are my PRECIOUSSSSSS!!!!
