Incoming and Outgoing

Friends come and go. In fact, today, I believe I lost a friend that I just got to know last year or so. Oh, well... Que sera sera.
However, I am happy to report that a very old friend came into my life recently. This is a friend that was with me when I was then green and blue and all other colours of the rainbow behind the ears. I was then the girl with the pig tails and no sense of fashion (not that I have much of those nowadays). We were room mates when we were studying in college. However, she left to continue her studies overseas and I still had to finish mine at the college. So, as the story goes, we lost touch. There was no handphones then. In fact, I think I only started to use the handphone after I finished my undergraduate studies. E-mails are also hard to access as we did not have our own laptops then. We did however write letters to each other at the beginning but that kinda fades out as well. I am not much of a letter person anyways.
But as fate would have it, on chance I saw her sister while having breakfast with my parents one fine weekend. I was eating not to my hearts content as the food was not that glorious, but I felt behind my head that somebody was looking at me. I thought she was mistaking me for somebody because for the life of me I can't remember her. However, this sister of her came over to where me and my parents were having breakfast and introduced herself. Then, recognition sparked in me. I'm hopeless in this - remembering people. Actually, I can sometimes remember the faces of people from my past who I haven't met for the longest time, but their names always escape me... With my friend however, after the recognition in me of her sister, we established contact and we lifted off!!!
So, incoming or outgoing, I welcome everybody in my life. It adds curry. It adds salt and sugar. It adds chilli. It adds garlic and onions and also it adds 'belacan' to my life.
Anyways, on a different tangent, I am elated, sad and happy (I don't think one person can have all these emotions at one time but somehow I do, it's all mashed up into one big giant feelings) that the fav reality race show has come to an end. I can't wait for the next installment.
Congrats to the Malaysian team. Gal power rules!
Good work to the Singaporean team.
Oppss to the Philipines team. I'm not great with flags either.
But the race goes to show that fate and luck can change almost without any notice and can overturn 360 degrees towards another end. Nothing is 100% certain!!!
Yup, this also goes in line with my incoming and outgoing theme. Nothing is constant, things are always changing.

Let's shoot Cupid

Happy Valentine's Pheww Day

Yup... pheww...

First of all... to those who know me... I am always late, for everything. It's already electronified into my brains that being late sometimes does have its advantages, so most of the times be it something major like a work related thing or something minor like meeting friends up for crumpets, being 5 - 10 mins late is OK. Mind you, I'm not late all the time, sometimes, I impress even my own self by being super duper early and completely against my natural instinct.

And so... today, I decided to be early for my matter. My early today was really early to the point that the people who I have to meet in dealing with my matter was not even ready to receive me. But it is beyond belief that today of all the day when I am thinking of spreading some love, I am being accused of being late for my own matter. The simple fact that you don't see me all the time waiting for my matter to be called, does not mean that I wasn't there earlier. The truth was revealed thereafter but I still get no satisfaction out of it as the person who accused me of being late does not even bother apologising or anything short to that.

Because for whatever is said and done, I was early and for that precious times when I am early and I am being mistaken as being late, it completely boils my mind.

So, I say let's shoot cupid. With a nuclear power missile, because today is definitely not a day I want to spread any love around.

Phewww!!!

WP DAY

Night - Back View

Day - Front View
Tomorrow is the WP day and it's a holiday for me working in WP. I am sure the Selangorians are soo envious os us WPians this year as Thaipusam was also a holiday for us but the WP is not a holiday for them. Oppsss...
Anyways, as I do not have a pic of WP, it's a whole city and the only landmark that I can think off is the KLCC, but I'm sure everybody knows how the KLCC looks like. So, I am posting a pic of the new Court complex which from these pics, I am proud to say that I have the pleasure of visiting everytime I have my matters there. The night pic looks kinda good, though I don't have the opportunity of seeing this in person.
It's the holidays tomorrow and I have 3 days to laze about. I however, have scheduled a facial, a shopping trip to get blazer and the pants and a loh sang dinner this weekend. Luverly...
